Back in time

Last sunday I visited my favourite Christmas market in Oslo. We had a wooping minus 15 degrees celcius (5 Fh I think), and my hands are still dry and red from sporadically not wearing mittens (I had to take pictures!) The marked is arranged by Norwegian MuseumThey have a great exhibition of old houses from the 1500 up until modern time, all correctly decorated for Christmas :) Besides that, you can enjoy Christmas food and buy traditional  norwegian hand crafts.

I can only imagine... BRRRR!

"Nisse" kids

I fall in love every time I enter an old house. The scents, the details, the dim light and the thought of who used to live there is so exciting. The cold air seeping through a gaping threshold makes you realise how lucky we are with todays standards. It must have been such a challenge beeing a mother of small children during a frosty winter.

Dishes are done!
